April has been training for the last 16 years in multiple disciplines of dance including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical and Musical Theatre. Throughout this time, she has received numerous scholarships and awards including Top Soloist.
In 2011, April attended The Pulse Dance Convention in Las Vegas. Here, she received training from several "So You Think You Can Dance" choreographers.
April’s training has taken her to several workshops and conventions. In 2017, she had the honour of dancing on Broadway in New York City with The Dance Place through Dance the Magic. While in New York, she took classes at Broadway Dance Center.
April has used her love for dance to help raise money for charitable organizations including "Stars of Hope" for Kids with Cancer, "For Kids By Kids" for The Stollery Children’s Hospital, and Parkinson’s Association of Alberta.
Since 2017, April has been attending Grant MacEwan University where she is taking her Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting.
