About Jorja
Miss Jorja began dancing at the age of three and quickly developed a love for all genres of dance. She began teaching at a young age and immediately discovered that sharing her passion for dance with her students was just as rewarding as performing itself.
Trained in a wide variety of styles, Jorja’s fortes include Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet and Hip Hop. Throughout her years as both a competitive dancer and teacher, she has continued to take every opportunity to learn, train and grow alongside a variety of instructors and choreographers across Alberta.
Jorja began competing at the age of six and has received numerous awards, titles, scholarships and top placements throughout her competitive career. Her passion for dance has also carried into her choreography, where her students and routines have received recognition and awards of their own. Highlights of Jorja’s dance career was being a member of YEG Kinesis Dance Project under the direction of Thomas Boivin, as well as having the opportunity to perform at Disneyland alongside members of her home studio.
Above all, Miss Jorja loves teaching and watching her students grow in both their confidence and abilities throughout the season. There is nothing better to her than seeing a dancer step onstage and proudly perform everything they have worked toward throughout the year. Miss Jorja is so excited to be joining TDP in her first season and can’t wait to meet her students, share her love of dance, and make this an amazing year!
